Prune Cake With Butterscotch Glaze

Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp allspice
- 1 Tbsp nutmeg
- 1 12 c coarsely cut cooked pitted and drained prunes
- 1 c corn oil
- 1 12 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 c chopped nut meats
Directions
- Sift flour and other dry ingredients set aside
- Beat oil and sugar in a large mixing bowl
- Add eggs one at a time beat well Stir in vanilla
- Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk
- Stir in prunes and nuts
- Pour into 9-inch tube pan with removable bottom Bake in 350 oven about one hour
