Pudding Tortoni
Ingredients
- 1 small pkg vanilla or coconut pudding not instant
- 1 14 c milk
- 13 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
- 1 c heavy cream
- 13 c toasted coconut andor ground nuts
Directions
- Combine pudding mix milk and sugar in saucepan
- Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil
- Remove from heat cover with waxed paper and chill
- Then beat pudding add extract Whip cream and fold into pudding
- Pour into paper cups or muffin tins
- Sprinkle with toasted coconut and top with maraschino cherries
- Freeze until firm and eat directly from freezer Serves 12
