Pumpkin Stew
Ingredients
- 1 medium pumpkin 8 to 10 inches
- 2 lb cooked hamburger
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 carrots sliced
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can drained mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp garlic salt
- 23 c chopped potatoes or 1 c egg noodles
- 1 celery stalk sliced
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Cook ingredients all together in a pot for 10 minutes
- Then pour into a medium pumpkin which has been cleaned out
- Replace the top
- Put pumpkin in a sturdy baking pan and bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes until pumpkin turns brown
- Remove the top and ladle out the stew
