Ingredients

  • 4 c sugar
  • 2 c strong black tea
  • 2 12 c orange juice
  • 12 oz maraschino cherries
  • 3 gal water
  • ice cubes
  • 2 c water
  • 2 c lemon juice
  • 5 c pineapple juice
  • 2 qt dry ginger ale

Directions

  1. Make a syrup by boiling sugar and 2 cups water for 10 minutes Add tea and juices
  2. Chill 2 or 3 hours
  3. Strain if desired
  4. Add cherries with juice 3 gallons water and ginger ale
  5. Pour over ice cubes in punch bowl
  6. Serve
  7. Yields 75 servings
