Quiche Lorraine
Ingredients
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- 8 slices bacon cooked and diced
- 12 lb Swiss cheese shredded
- 1 Tbsp enriched flour
- 12 tsp salt
- dash nutmeg
- 1 34 c milk
- 1 small onion diced
Directions
- Bake pie shell for 7 minutes at 450
- Remove and reduce heat to 325
- Fry bacon until crisp drain and cut
- Save 2 tablespoons bacon for trim
- Place remaining bacon in pie shell add cheese
- Combine remaining ingredients pour over bacon and cheese
- Sprinkle remaining bacon on top
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is almost set
- Let cool 25 minutes and serve Serves 6
