Quick Green Pea Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 1 lb cans green peas not drained LeSueur
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup undiluted
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
  • pinch of sweet basil
  • pimento for decoration

Directions

  1. Cook celery and green pepper in saucepan in small amount of margarine butter or oil until soft
  2. Add green peas with their liquid undiluted soup and sweet basil
  3. Add herb stuffing until liquid is absorbed and mixture reaches desired consistency for a casserole
  4. Heat
  5. Pour into casserole
  6. Decorate with pimento and serve
  7. If you like something crunchy in the casserole and to save time stir in the celery and green pepper raw
  8. For an extra quick casserole omit them entirely
