Quick Homemade Chili
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp pure vegetable oil
- 12 clove garlic minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 15 12 oz can small red beans or kidney beans undrained
- 12 c chopped onion
- 12 medium green pepper chopped
- 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 to 2 tsp chili powder
Directions
- Cook and stir garlic and meat in hot oil in large skillet until meat loses its red color
- Add beans with their liquid onion and green pepper
- Pour in tomato sauce
- Add salt and chili powder and stir
- Simmer over low heat stirring occasionally until chili is desired thickness about 45 minutes
- Makes 4 servings
