Quick N Hearty Mushroom Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms sliced or 2 cans mushrooms 6 to 8 oz each
- salad oil
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 can whole tomatoes crushed
- 1 can 10 34 oz size beef broth
- 2 soup cans water
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 12 tsp thyme
- 12 c Minute rice
Directions
- Saute mushrooms in a little oil set aside
- Brown hamburger draining off fat
- Add tomatoes mushroom mix broth water and seasonings
- Bring to boil
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes
- Stir in rice and cover
- Set aside for 5 minutes Makes 9 cups
