Quick Pickles

Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 14 c water
- 14 c sugar
- 34 c vinegar
Directions
- Cut cucumbers into spears
- Place them in a quart jar
- Add mustard and celery seeds and onion
- Bring water to a boil in a small pan
- Add sugar and vinegar and pour into the jar
- Let stand 4 to 6 hours before refrigerating
- Cover
- Serve cold
