Raisin PieFrom The Parsonage Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 1 c raisins
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp butter or oleo
  • 1 12 c boiling water
  • pinch of salt
  • dough for a 2-crust pie

Directions

  1. Combine raisins sugar flour vinegar butter and salt in boiling water
  2. Roll pie dough and spread bottom crust with margarine add raisin mixture
  3. Wet edges of crust with water Place top crust on top of filling and seal down good
  4. Bake in hot oven at 425 for 15 minutes then lower heat and bake until brown
