Raisin Sauce For Ham
Ingredients
- 12 c packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 12 c water
- 12 c raisins
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 14 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
Directions
- In a saucepan combine brown sugar cornstarch and mustard Stir in water raisins vinegar lemon juice and peel until blended
- Bring to a boil cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened
- Stir in butter until melted
- Serve warm over sliced ham
- Yield 2 cups
