Ranger Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c shortening
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 c quick cooking oatmeal
- 2 c Rice Krispies
- 1 c shredded coconut
Directions
- Cream the shortening and sugars together
- Add the eggs and vanilla mix until smooth
- Sift flour soda baking powder and salt together add to creamed mixture
- Mix well then add the oatmeal rice cereal and coconut and mix well
- Dough will be quite crumbly
- Mold with hands into balls the size of a walnut Place on a cookie sheet and press slightly
- Bake in a 350 oven for 10 to 12 minutes
- Yields 6 dozen
