Reba KellyS Creamed Spinach

Ingredients

• 2 slices bacon fried and chopped
• 1 Tbsp bacon drippings
• 1 small onion chopped fine
• 1 Tbsp flour
• 1 can spinach
• salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Saute onion in bacon drippings
2. Add flour to onion
3. Cook approximately 1 minute
4. Add liquid from the can of spinach and cook another minute stirring to make smooth sauce
5. Add spinach and season with salt and pepper
6. Cook for about 5 minutes Garnish with bacon bits
