Reception Punch

Ingredients
- 8 c sugar
- 2 qt water
- 12 c crushed mint leaves
- 2 qt iced tea
- 3 qt orange juice
- 1 pt pineapple or grape juice
- 1 pt lemon juice
- 2 gal water
- 2 qt ginger ale
- 1 10 oz jar maraschino cherries
- lemon and orange slices
Directions
- Boil sugar with 2 quarts water for 5 minutes
- Add crushed mint Cool and strain
- Add tea juices and remaining water
- Add ginger ale and cherries just before serving
- Serve over ice and garnish with fruit slices
- Yields 100 servings
