Red Cabbage And Kidney Beans

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 4 Tbsp minced onion
- 4 c shredded red cabbage
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
- salt and pepper
- 4 Tbsp red wine
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 can kidney beans
Directions
- In a large skillet cook onion in butter 3 or 4 minutes
- Add shredded cabbage
- Sprinkle with brown sugar salt and pepper Add wine and vinegar
- Add beans cover and cook slowly 30 or 40 minutes
- Add more wine or water if needed
- Serve with pork chops
