Red Velvet Frosting

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 c sugar
  • 8 oz whipped margarine Blue Bonnet or Parkay
  • 1 c cold water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Cook water and cornstarch stirring constantly until thick Remove from heat and let stand until cold
  2. Add sugar vanilla and margarine
  3. Beat with electric mixer until smooth
  4. Spread on cool cake
