Refrigerator Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 lb margarine
- 3 c sugar
- 5 tsp soda
- 4 c All-Bran cereal
- 5 c flour
- 1 lb raisins optional
- 4 eggs
- 1 qt buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 c shredded wheat cereal
Directions
- Use a large bowl
- Pour 2 cups boiling water over the shredded wheat and let stand Cream sugar shortening and eggs well beaten
- Add shredded wheat mixture and other ingredients
- Let stand 36 hours before using
- Fill muffin tins slightly over half and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
- Batter keeps indefinitely in refrigerator
