Refrigerator Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 c boiling water
- 1 12 c margarine
- 4 eggs
- 6 c flour
- 6 c all-bran
- 2 12 c sugar
- 1 qt buttermilk
- 5 tsp soda
Directions
- Pour boiling water over 2 cups all-bran let cool
- Cream margarine sugar add eggs
- Sift soda in flour
- Add to cream mixture buttermilk also add the all-bran mixture and the remaining 4 cups all-bran
- Stir until well blended do not beat Must refrigerate before using fill well-greased muffin tins and bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes
- Make only what you need as this batter will keep 4 to 6 weeks
