Refrigerator Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 c nutmeats
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 tsp soda dissolved in 14 c hot water
• 4 c flour

Directions

1. Beat well the brown sugar white sugar and shortening
2. Add remaining ingredients
3. Divide in four parts
4. Roll in stick shape
5. Cover with foil and freeze
6. Slice and bake as needed for 8 to 10 minutes at 400
