Ingredients

  • 1 qt milk
  • 1 c water
  • 23 c long grain rice
  • 23 c sugar
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • cinnamon

Directions

  1. Heat milk and water in saucepan
  2. Add rice stir
  3. Add sugar salt and butter and stir then let simmer for 50 minutes
  4. Beat 2 eggs in separate bowl and slowly add hot mixture
  5. Beat constantly
  6. Add vanilla and stir gently
  7. Ladle into dessert dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon
  8. Refrigerate
  9. Serves 8
