RiseS Lemon Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 6 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 eggs separated
  • 23 c flour
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • 3 c milk

Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix sugar salt and lemon juice
  2. Add 6 egg yolks save egg whites in separate bowl and beat well
  3. Add flour and melted butter or margarine and mix well
  4. Add milk one cup at a time
  5. Beat egg whites until peaked and fold into mixture
  6. Pour into well-greased 9 x 11-inch baking dish
  7. Set baking dish into pan of cold water approximately 12-inch deep and bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes
  8. Cool and serve Refrigerate when cool
