Ritz Torte
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 20 Ritz crackers
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 c chopped nuts
- whipped cream
- shaved chocolate
Directions
- Beat egg whites stiff
- Add sugar and vanilla
- Beat well on high speed
- With rolling pin roll crackers together with baking powder on waxed paper
- Stir into egg white mixture
- Fold in chopped nuts
- Spread into a 9-inch greased pie tin
- Bake in a 350 oven for 20 to 25 minutes
- When cool and before serving top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate
