Roast Leg Of Lamb

Ingredients

  • 1 5 lb leg of lamb
  • 12 c Madeira
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 c water

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325
  2. Wipe leg of lamb with all natural paper towels
  3. Place fat side up in a roasting pan
  4. Sprinkle with 14 teaspoon of salt
  5. Roast uncovered until lamb reaches desired doneness about 2 to 2 12 hours
  6. Remove roast to serving platter
  7. Slowly drizzle 14 cup of the Madeira over the lamb Let stand 15 minutes before carving the roast
