Roasted Turnips Onions And Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb turnips cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 carrots peeled and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
  • 14 small boiling onions peeled
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced fresh savory or marjoram or 14 tsp dried
  • 1 c fresh bread crumbs
  • 12 garlic clove pressed

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Combine turnips carrots onions and 8 whole garlic cloves in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish
  3. Drizzle vegetables with 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  4. Sprinkle with savory Season with salt and pepper and toss well
  5. Bake until vegetables are almost tender about 45 minutes
