Rolled Oats Cake With Peanut Butter Icing
Ingredients
- 1 12 c water
- 1 c rolled oats
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 c flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 12 tsp soda
- 12 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c raisins optional
Directions
- Put water in medium kettle
- Boil
- Remove from heat
- Add oats to water and stir well
- Add margarine and both sugars
- Stir until melted
- Add eggs beat well
- Add dry ingredients which have been sifted
- Stir well add raisins and mix
- Pour batter into large well-greased pan
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
