Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 32 oz Prego with mushrooms
  • 1 pt tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 Tbsp sweet basil
  • 4 c rotini macaroni
  • 1 lb Mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Brown and drain ground beef onion salt and pepper
  2. Add Prego tomato juice oregano and sweet basil simmer 20 minutes Cook macaroni until tender and drain
  3. Grate cheese
  4. Layer in 2-quart casserole dish the meat sauce macaroni cheese macaroni and meat sauce
  5. Bake at 325 for 30 to 35 minutes
  6. Add remaining cheese on top and bake until melted
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
  8. Serves 4 to 6
