Round Steaks Smothered In Onions

Ingredients

• 2 12 to 3 lb round steak
• 1 large onion sliced
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 12 c flour
• 3 Tbsp oil

Directions

1. Trim excess fat from steak and cut into serving size pieces Season steak with salt and pepper
2. Dredge in flour and lightly pound floured steak with a mallet or edge of saucer
3. Brown steak in hot oil in skillet
4. Add onion and enough water just to cover the steak and onions
