Round Steaks Smothered In Onions

Ingredients
- 2 12 to 3 lb round steak
- 1 large onion sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 12 c flour
- 3 Tbsp oil
Directions
- Trim excess fat from steak and cut into serving size pieces Season steak with salt and pepper
- Dredge in flour and lightly pound floured steak with a mallet or edge of saucer
- Brown steak in hot oil in skillet
- Add onion and enough water just to cover the steak and onions
