Ruben Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 32 oz jar sauerkraut drained and rinsed
- 12 c chopped onion
- 12 c parsley
- 2 Tbsp caraway seed
- 4 c Swiss cheese shredded and divided
- 1 13 c Thousand Island dressing divided
- 1 lb can corned beef sliced thin
- 6 slices rye bread cut in one inch cubes
- 12 c margarine melted
Directions
- Combine kraut onion parsley and seed in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan Top with 2 cups cheese and 23 cup dressing
- Layer beef slices Add rest of cheese and dressing
- Toss bread cubes with margarine and spread on top
- Bake in 375 oven for 35 minutes
