RubyS Egg Pie

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 23 c flour
- 3 c milk
- 4 egg yolks save whites for meringue
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 14 stick butter
- dash of salt
Directions
- Mix flour and sugar in iron skillet
- Add milk
- Mix well Stir in beaten egg yolks vanilla and salt
- When hot put in butter
- Cook until thick
- Stir constantly so it wont get lumpy or stick
- Pour into baked pie shells
- Top with beaten egg whites
- Brown in oven
- Makes 2 pies
