Rum Nut Swirl Brownies

Ingredients

  • 12 c butter or margarine melted
  • 1 c sugar
  • 13 c cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 c all-purpose flour
  • 12 tsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Grease 8-inch square baking pan
  3. In medium bowl stir butter sugar and cocoa until blended
  4. Add vanilla and eggs beat with spoon until blended
  5. Add flour baking powder and salt
  6. Beat with spoon until well blended
  7. Spread half of batter into prepared pan
  8. Gently spread Rum Nut Swirl over batter
  9. Spoon remaining chocolate batter over top
  10. With spatula or knife cut through batters to marble
  11. Bake for 25 minutes Reduce oven temperature to 325
  12. Continue to bake for 10 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan
  13. Cool completely in pan on wire rack
  14. Cut into 20 bars and serve warm
