Ingredients

  • chicken livers
  • water chestnuts sliced
  • bacon
  • teriyaki sauce
  • brown sugar
  • hot sauce

Directions

  1. Cut chicken livers in half
  2. Pour teriyaki sauce over chicken livers and water chestnuts in large bowl refrigerate about 4 hours
  3. Drain
  4. Cut bacon slices in half
  5. Wrap a piece of liver and a piece of water chestnut in each slice of bacon
  6. Secure with toothpick
  7. Roll in brown sugar
  8. Bake in oven at 350 for about 20 minutes
  9. Turn oven to broil for about 10 minutes turning occasionally
  10. Serve with hot sauce
