Ruth BruceS Apricot Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb ribs
  • 12 c apricot preserves
  • 14 c catsup
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 12 Tbsp dry mustard
  • 12 Tbsp ground ginger
  • dash of hot pepper sauce

Directions

  1. Place ribs in a large heavy pot and cover with water
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer gently until tender
  3. Place in pan and baste with sauce
  4. Bake in a 350 oven for 15 to 20 minutes basting frequently
