Sail Along Salad
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 c cooked rice
- 1 8 oz can pineapple chunks reserve juice
- 1 c mayonnaise
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 12 tsp salt
- slivered almonds
- 12 c green pepper chopped
- 14 c green onions sliced
- 1 lb ham diced
- 1 c Swiss cheese shredded
Directions
- Place rice in a large bowl
- Pour pineapple liquid into small bowl
- Beat in mayonnaise mustard and salt
- To rice add pineapple chunks peppers onions and ham
- Add dressing and mix well
- Add cheese
- Toss lightly
- Chill at least one hour
- Top with slivered almonds
- Serves 6 to 8
