Salmon Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 15 12 oz cans salmon boned
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 8 large potatoes peeled and cooked
  • 1 c milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • biscuit mix pastry for 2 double crust 9-inch pies

Directions

  1. Combine salmon onions and butter mix thoroughly
  2. Add potatoes and mash
  3. Stir in milk whip until smooth
  4. Spread mixture in prepared pastry shells top with crust and crimp edges to seal
  5. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
  6. Pie may be frozen
  7. Yields 12 to 16 servings
