Salmon Steaks With Herbed Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 12 c diet margarine
- grated peel of 12 lemon
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh herbs chopped any combination of tarragon rosemary andor basil can be used or 1 tsp dried herbs may be used instead of fresh
- 14 tsp seasoned salt
- 18 tsp white pepper
- 4 to 6 salmon steaks about 6 oz each
- 2 to 3 tsp oil 14 tsp per each steak
Directions
- Combine all ingredients but salmon oil and lemon
- On wax paper shape mixture into 1 x 7-inch roll Wrap and chill
- Brush salmon with oil Barbecue grill or broil 4-inches from heat 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes when tested with a fork
- To serve top salmon with 1 teaspoon each of the margarine and garnish with lemon wedges and parsley
