Salsa
Ingredients
- 16 c peeled chopped tomatoes
- 2 c green peppers chopped
- 2 c chopped onion
- 1 12 c chopped jalapeno pepper about 6 to 8 peppers for mild-medium salsa
- 3 Tbsp salt
- 2 to 2 12 Tbsp chili powder
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 c vinegar
- 6 to 8 cloves garlic chopped
Directions
- Simmer all ingredients in large pot uncovered for 1 hour Make paste of 6 tablespoons cornstarch and 23 cup water
- Add to sauce and simmer to thicken
