Salsa Fresca

Ingredients

  • 1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cilantro, chopped
  • ground cumin

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
  2. Yields 1 pint. Keeps for a couple of days in the refrigerator, but not much longer.
