Sandies
Ingredients
- 1 c butter margarine
- 13 c sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 14 c powdered sugar
Directions
- Beat butter for 30 seconds add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy
- Add vanilla and 2 teaspoons water beat well
- Stir in flour and pecans
- Shape into 1-inch balls or 1 12 x 12-inch fingers
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake in 325 oven for 20 minutes
- Cool completely
- Gently shake a few cookies at a time in a bag with powdered sugar
- Yields 36
