Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- shredded cabbage
- 1 c sugar or less
- 1 c vinegar
- 1 qt water
- 3 qt water
Directions
- Pack shredded cabbage into jars
- Combine sugar vinegar and 1 quart of water
- Bring to a boil then turn off heat and add the last 3 quarts of water
- Pour over the shredded cabbage
- Put lids on and store in a cool dark place
- Ready in 14 days
