Sauerkraut And Spareribs
Ingredients
- 2 1 lb jars kraut
- 1 large onion sliced
- 3 to 4 lb ribs
- 12 c ketchup
- water
- 14 c brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
Directions
- Rinse kraut and put in roaster
- Top kraut with onion slices and sprinkle with brown sugar
- Add water so it is almost to the top of the kraut in the pan
- Brown ribs in skillet and lay on top of kraut
- Mix in a large measuring cup ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and then fill the cup with water so the mixture measures a total of 1 cup
- Mix and pour over ribs and kraut
- Put in oven for 2 12 hours at 350
