Sauerkraut Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 2 c sauerkraut
  • 1 c oatmeal
  • 3 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 12 tsp celery salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp fat
  • 12 c brown sugar
  • 14 c water
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix first 8 ingredients melt fat in skillet and brown meatballs
  2. Mix sugar water and vinegar
  3. Spoon over meat Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes
  4. Serves 6
