Sausage-Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 sweet Italian sausages 1 lb
  • 1 lb beef chuck in 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 2 medium cloves garlic minced
  • 2 medium green peppers seeded and cut into eighths
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut in quarters
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes in 1 c boiling water

Directions

  1. Brown sausages and beef chuck cubes in electric skillet
  2. Add onion garlic green peppers potatoes kidney beans basil salt and pepper
  3. Add bouillon and cook at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes
  4. Check from time to time
  5. Add more bouillon if needed Juices may be thickened for gravy
