Sausage-Rice Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pkg sausage hot or regular
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 5 c water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c rice
- 2 pkg cream of chicken Cup-a-Soup
- 12 lb jalapeno cheese cut into small pieces
Directions
- In a large skillet saute sausage bell pepper and onion
- In a boiler bring water salt and rice to a boil and cook only 10 minutes
- Do not cover
- Remove rice and water from heat
- Add the packages of soup
- Mix well
- Add this to sausage mixture and add cheese
- Pour all this into a casserole dish
- Bake 30 minutes at 325
- Do not grease
- Do not cool
