Sausage And Potato Stew

Ingredients

• 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut into bite size pieces
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 1 medium onion diced
• 1 lb Polska kielbasa sausage cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 14 to 16 oz can Italian stewed tomatoes
• 2 to 4 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp caraway seed

Directions

1. In a 3-quart saucepan heat potatoes salt and enough water to cover to boiling
2. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are fork-tender
3. Drain
4. While potatoes are boiling in a 12-inch skillet heat butter
5. Cook onions until tender
6. Add sausage tomatoes with liquid paprika caraway seed and 12 teaspoon salt
7. Heat to boiling
8. Reduce heat to low cover and simmer 15 minutes
9. Stir in potatoes and serve
