Sausage And Salsa Skillet Dinner
Ingredients
- 12 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa
- 1 c enriched rice
- 1 can 14 12 oz stewed tomatoes
- 1 c water
- 23 c thick and chunky salsa
- 1 can 8 oz dark red kidney beans rinsed and drained
Directions
- Cut sausage in half lengthwise cut crosswise into 14-inch slices
- In 10-inch skillet combine rice sausage tomatoes water salsa and beans
- Mix well breaking tomatoes with large spoon
- Bring to boil reduce heat cover and simmer 20 minutes Remove from heat let stand covered about 5 minutes
- Makes 4 servings
