Sausage Rolls Canadian

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 c margarine
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 12 oz pkg smoked sausage links
  • mustard
  • poppy or toasted sesame seed

Directions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese or margarine mixing until well blended
  2. Add flour mix well
  3. Shape into ball chill
  4. Cut sausage links in half crosswise
  5. Simmer in water 2 minutes drain
  6. Cool
  7. Divide dough in half
  8. On lightly floured surface roll out each half to 12-inch square
  9. Cut each square into 16 3 x 3-inch pieces
  10. Spread each piece with mustard to within 12 inch of edge
  11. Roll around sausage half seal ends
  12. Dip each roll in seed
  13. Place seam-side down on ungreased cookie sheet
  14. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned
