Sausage Rolls Canadian
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 c margarine
- 2 c flour
- 2 12 oz pkg smoked sausage links
- mustard
- poppy or toasted sesame seed
Directions
- Combine softened cream cheese or margarine mixing until well blended
- Add flour mix well
- Shape into ball chill
- Cut sausage links in half crosswise
- Simmer in water 2 minutes drain
- Cool
- Divide dough in half
- On lightly floured surface roll out each half to 12-inch square
- Cut each square into 16 3 x 3-inch pieces
- Spread each piece with mustard to within 12 inch of edge
- Roll around sausage half seal ends
- Dip each roll in seed
- Place seam-side down on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned
