Sausage Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 2 c coarsely shredded cabbage
- 1 small onion sliced
- 3 celery ribs diagonally sliced
- 4 to 5 pieces cooked link sausage about 1 lb sliced in rings
- 1 c V-8 juice
- 2 c weak beef broth made with bouillon cubes
- 1 12 Tbsp soy sauce
- pepper
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
Directions
- Heat a wok or large pot until hot
- Add a small amount of oil to coat bottom
- When oil is hot add cabbage onion and celery and stir-fry until it is about half done
- Add sausage rings and continue stirring over high heat until sausage is heated through Add V-8 juice beef broth soy sauce and pepper
- Cook until heated
- Thicken with cornstarch and a little of the reserved beef broth
- Heat through
- Add sesame oil just before serving
- Serve over hot fluffy rice
