Sauteed CalfS Liver With Onions
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 c thinly sliced onions
- 14 tsp dried sage leaves
- 1 lb calf liver cut crosswise into 14-inch strips
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp wine vinegar preferably white
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in heavy skillet
- Add onions and cook stirring frequently for 7 to 8 minutes
- Stir in sage and cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until onions are limp and slightly colored Set skillet off heat
