Scalloped Oysters

Ingredients

  • 23 c coarsely ground crackers
  • 1 qt oysters
  • 34 c butter or margarine
  • 1 34 c scalded milk
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Melt butter in scalded milk
  2. Add eggs
  3. Layer oysters and crackers in a 2-quart bowl
  4. Pour milk and egg mixture over salt and pepper to taste
  5. Uncover for 1 hour
  6. Bake at 350
