Scalloped Oysters
Ingredients
- 23 c coarsely ground crackers
- 1 qt oysters
- 34 c butter or margarine
- 1 34 c scalded milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Melt butter in scalded milk
- Add eggs
- Layer oysters and crackers in a 2-quart bowl
- Pour milk and egg mixture over salt and pepper to taste
- Uncover for 1 hour
- Bake at 350
