Scalloped OystersMicrowave
Ingredients
- 4 12 oz cans fresh oysters drained
- 12 lb crackers 2 pkg
- 1 pt half and half cream
- 2 Tbsp plain flour
- 2 sticks butter sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- paprika
- 14 c Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Add flour to cream and stir until well dissolved
- Generously grease microwave-safe casserole dish button and sides with butter
- Cover bottom of casserole with a third of the crackers which have been crumbled by hand
- Add one layer of oysters
- Pour half of the cream mixture over oysters
- Add salt pepper garlic powder and sliced butter
- Repeat process by making another layer as listed
- Cover well with a layer of crumbled crackers sliced butter salt and pepper
- You should judge the amount of salt by the saltiness of the oysters
- Sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese
- Microwave Medium-high for 15 minutes rotating at 5 minute intervals
