Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 14 c flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c milk
  • 12 c raisins or currants

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together with pastry blender
  2. Drop by big spoon onto greased cookie sheet
  3. Bake 20 minutes at 400
  4. Makes 6 to 8 scones
  5. Serve warm with jam jelly or honey
  6. Quick easy and good
  7. They freeze well
  8. Heat in microwave a few seconds
