SconesRecipe From Ireland 100 Years Old

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 14 c flour
- 1 egg
- 1 c milk
- 12 c raisins or currants
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together with pastry blender
- Drop by big spoon onto greased cookie sheet
- Bake 20 minutes at 400
- Makes 6 to 8 scones
- Serve warm with jam jelly or honey
- Quick easy and good
- They freeze well
- Heat in microwave a few seconds
